GENERAL INFORMATION ON LLEIDA
THE CITY	Lleida is a city with more than 116.000 inhabitants, situated in the interior of Catalonia, it is the capital of the area that the Catalonians name "la terra ferma" (the firm land), because it is far from the sea. Situation: Lleida is the capital of the region of the Segrià and of the provínce of the same name. It is found on western of Catalonia and the distance from Barcelona is about 150 Km. Latitude: 41,617º N Length: 0,668º E Communications: from Barcelona by Freeway, Highway or Train (Renfe http://www.renfe.es/). The communications by train are good from Barcelona and from Madrid (TGV). Lleida is also very well communicated by freeway, so much from Barcelona as since all the Iberian peninsula and Europe through the European network of freeways.
